Since its inception, Synapse C has been supporting cultural organizations with what it knows best: the tremendous potential of information generated by the data that exists in the cultural sector.

To this end, we have launched an event to inspire and identify courses of action for and with the cultural world. We have also solicited administrative and political decision-makers to hear the progress of the cultural sector, but also to be heard on their own vision, here and elsewhere in the world.

Indeed, we believe that the event, with the support of our partner organisations, will bring together all those who care about the diversity and discoverability of cultural products to create an exceptional offering to the sector.

We at OCAD University, with our partner organisations, are excited to be involved in Data Echo Culture, which we view as a tremendous opportunity to strengthen the responsible and effective use of data in building audiences for Canadian cultural production and to create partnerships in Canada and beyond.

The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership is pleased to be associated with the international meeting on audience data in culture Data Echo Culture. As one of the first actors on the local and international scene to work on data sharing in culture, the Partnership is an important player in Quebec. Without a doubt, the Partnership is an perfect example that data sharing goes hand in hand with the sharing and development of skills between cultural organizations.

As The Audience Agency, in partnership with OCAD University and Synapse C, we are delighted to add our support to Data Echo Culture. We are firm believers in the importance of audiences and the value that using data to help understand your audience can bring. International collaborations and partnership create exceptional opportunities for cross national learning and understanding and we are deeply looking forward to learning and sharing with the wide range of truly talented individuals involved.
